1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EasyRentGh ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
EasyRentGh is a rental marketplace that connects owners and renters across Ghana. The platform covers property, vehicles, event and party items, and construction equipment.
2. User Accounts & Roles
To list or enquire about items on EasyRentGh, you must create an account. We offer two types of accounts:
- Owner Account: For individuals or businesses who want to list items for rent. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings.
- Renter Account: For individuals who want to browse and contact owners about available rentals.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your login details with anyone.
⚠️ You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on EasyRentGh.
3. Listings & Content
All listings on EasyRentGh are subject to admin review and approval before going live. By submitting a listing, you confirm that:
- You are the legitimate owner or authorized agent of the item being listed.
- All information provided in the listing is accurate, truthful and up to date.
- The item is genuinely available for rent at the stated price.
- Your listing does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
- Photos uploaded are of the actual item being listed.
🚫 Fraudulent, misleading or illegal listings will be immediately removed and the account permanently banned.
4. Rental Categories
EasyRentGh supports the following rental categories:
- 🏠 Property: Apartments, houses, single rooms, hostels, hotels, office spaces, shops, warehouses and event venues.
- 🚗 Vehicles: Cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, vans and pickup trucks.
- 🎉 Event & Party Items: Chairs, tables, canopies, sound systems, DJ equipment, lighting, portable toilets, catering equipment and stages.
- 🏗️ Construction Equipment: Excavators, concrete mixers, scaffolding, ladders, generators, welding machines, cranes, compressors, bulldozers and forklifts.
Additional categories may be added in the future. Items that do not fall within approved categories may be rejected by admin.
5. Pricing & Payments
EasyRentGh is a listing and connection platform. We do not process payments between owners and renters. All financial transactions are conducted directly between the owner and renter.
- Owners set their own prices and pricing types (per hour, per day, per week, per month).
- EasyRentGh does not take commission on any rental transaction.
- Any payment disputes are solely between the owner and renter.
⚠️ Never pay for a rental without first viewing the item in person. EasyRentGh is not responsible for payment disputes between users.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on EasyRentGh:
- Posting fake, misleading or fraudulent listings.
- Impersonating another person or organization.
- Listing stolen, illegal or dangerous items.
- Using the platform to harass, scam or defraud other users.
- Attempting to bypass the admin approval process.
- Collecting personal information from other users without consent.
- Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban or suspension.
🚫 Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban without notice.
7. Account Suspension & Deletion
EasyRentGh reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these terms. When an account is deleted:
- The account data is preserved for security and audit purposes.
- Users who delete their accounts cannot re-register with the same email or contact number if they were banned.
8. Liability Disclaimer
EasyRentGh is a marketplace platform only. We connect owners and renters but are not a party to any rental agreement between users.
- We are not responsible for the condition, quality or safety of items listed.
- We are not responsible for disputes, losses or damages arising from rentals arranged through the platform.
- We do not guarantee that all listings are accurate or available.
Users interact and transact at their own risk. We strongly encourage users to verify listings in person before making any payments.
9. Changes to These Terms
EasyRentGh reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
